What Sharon Did Last Week (10th - 13th April)
Tuesday
Sharon attended an LDEPP (Liberal Democrat European Parliamentary Party) group meeting at 12.30pm.
At 2.40pm Sharon had a meeting in her office with Adolfo Barberá del Rosal, Head of the Secretariat for ECON (Economic and Monetary Affairs) Committee.
At 3pm Sharon then had with Sir Michael Rake, Chair of British Telecom, regarding Solvency II and the revision of the Pensions Directive.
At 4pm Sharon had a meeting with her staff regarding the upcoming week.
Then at 5pm Sharon attended an ALDE (Alliance of Liberal and Democrats for Europe) group meeting.
Wednesday
At 9am Sharon attended an ALDE morning meeting, before going to a Trialogue on the Omnibus II Directive.
Then at 12.45pm Sharon met with visiting constituents from the European Atlantic Movement (TEAM).
At 1.30pm Sharon met with a group from ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association) regarding MiFID/R (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive/Regulation).
Sharon then spent the rest of the afternoon preparing for a meeting with the Shadow Rapporteurs on CRD IV (Capital Requirements Directive IV) which started at 5.00pm.
Thursday
At 9am Sharon took the Chair in ECON Committee.
Friday
Sharon took an early Eurostar back to London and spent the rest of the day in the Constituency office.
