What Sharon Did Last Week (11th - 15th June)

Monday

Sharon took a morning flight to Strasbourg to attend Plenary.

During the day Sharon attended a number of meetings in preparation for the week's agenda specifically with LDEPP (Liberal Democrat European Parliamentary Party) and ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe).

At 7 PM Sharon took the Chair in ECON Committee (Economic and Monetary Affairs) with a dialogue from Olli Rehn, Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs.

Tuesday

At 9AM Sharon attended a preperatory meeting on Venture Capital Funds and Social Entrepreneurship Funds ahead of the trilogue at 9.30AM.

At 12PM Sharon attended votes, and then at 1.30, attended a Conference of Committee Chairs meeting.

At 5pm Sharon met with Ambassador Dirk Wouters, the Belgian Permanent Representative, to discuss ECON matters.

At 7pm Sharon met with the ALDE group to discuss the 2-Pack.

Wednesday

At 8am Sharon attended a morning breakfast meeting with the ALDE group to discuss MiFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) and CRD (Credit Rating Agencies Directive).

Sharon then attended a Plenary debate on the state of the Eurozone before attending votes at 12pm.

At 1.30pm Sharon met with Martin Bresson, Permanent Representative of Denmark, in her office to discuss CRD 4 and Omnibus II.

Ahead of the trilogue on CRD 4, Sharon attended a preparatory meeting at 2pm.

At 6pm Sharon met with Martin Schulz, President of the European Parliament to discuss the European Semester.

Thursday

At 9.30am Sharon attended a preparatory meeting on CRD 4.

Then at 10am Sharon attended trilogue on CRD 4.

At 12pm Sharon attended votes.

Then at 4pm Sharon took a flight back to London.

Friday

Sharon spent the day in the Constituency Office.
