What Sharon Did Last Week (2nd - 6th July)
Monday
Sharon arrived in Strasbourg at 5pm for the Parliament's plenary week.
At 5.30pm Sharon attending an ALDE ECON preperatory meeting to discuss Sharon´s Rule 70 Report, among other issues.
At 6pm Sharon met with Klaus Heiner Lehne, Pervanche Beres and Alain Lamassoure to discuss the European Semester.
At 7pm Sharon took the chair in the ECON (Economic and Monetary Affairs) committee where, where her report on Rule 70 was discussed.
Tuesday
At 9.15am Sharon met with Michel Barnier, Commissioner for the Internal Market and Consumer Affairs in her office.
At 10am Sharon attended the 7th trilogue on Omnibus II followed by votes.
At 2pm as chair of the ECON committee Sharon attended the Conference of Committee Chairs.
At 4.30pm Sharon attended a trilogue on CRD IV (Capital Requirements Directive / Regulation).
Then at 6.30pm Sharon met with Martin Schulz, President of the European Parliament, to discuss the European Semester.
Wednesday
Then at 2pm Sharon met with Eamon Gilmore, Irish Deputy Prime Minister, to discuss the upcoming Irish Presidency of the EU in 2013.
At 2.30pm Sharon attended the formal signing of the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
At 4.30 Sharon chaired a trialogue on CRD4.
Thursday
At 9am Sharon attended trialogue on CRAs (Credit Rating Agencies) followed by votes.
At 2pm Sharon travelled back to Brussels.
Friday
Sharon travelled back to London then spent the rest of the day in her Constituency office.
