Sharon's Summer Round Up

Despite Parliament closing for Summer Recess on 23^rdJuly Sharon's diary did not take a break.

Upon return Sharon took 5 days to visit friends and family in Devon and Cornwall.

In July Sharon led a week long European delegation to meet with the US Treasury in Washington.

Sharon returned to Brussels to resume work in the Parliament on 3^rd September.

August quickly became a busy month too with a balance of writing Sharon's Annual Report, meetings with various people and companies including Douglas Flint the Group Chairman HSBC and Martin Wheatley of the FSA.

Sharon partipated in numerous press interviews, and appeared on BBC's HardTalk on 14^th August.

Sharon also visited Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Buckinghamshire, home of the Paralympics.
