What Sharon Did Last Week (3rd-7th September)

Monday

Sharon took a morning Eurostar back to Brussels ahead of an ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats) ECON (Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee) group meeting at 2pm.

At 2.30pm Sharon took the Chair in ECON Committee where stability bonds and monetary union were discussed.

Tuesday

From 9.30 - 12.30 Sharon attended a trialogue meeting on economic governance or '2-pack'.

Then at 12.30 Sharon met with the LDEPP (Liberals Democrat European Parliamentary Party) group.

Sharon then spent the afternoon working on CRD (Capital Requirements Directive).

From 5-6pm Sharon, as Chair of the ECON Committee, met with Carlo Casini the Chair of the AFCO (Constitutional Affairs) Committee.

Sharon then attended an ALDE Group meeting.

Wednesday

From 9-12.30 Sharon attended an ALDE Group meeting.

Sharon then met with officials from HM Treasury in her office.

At 4pm Sharon attended a preparatory meeting on CRD IV and CRR (Capital Requirements Regulation) ahead of the trialogue meeting at 4.30.

Thursday

Sharon spent the morning in her office preparing work for the following week followed by an interview with France24 News on their flagship European Affairs show 'Talking Europe'.

Sharon took an afternoon Eurostar back to London.

Friday

Sharon appeared on CNBC Live to discuss the ECB (European Central Back).

Sharon then returned to her Constituency Office.
