What Sharon Did Last Week (1st-5th October)

Monday

Sharon took a morning Eurostar to Brussels and spent the day in her office preparing for the Group and Committee Week.

Tuesday

At 10 am Sharon did two interviews, the first with 'Euractive' which was followed by 'El Pais'.

Sharon then spent time preparing for a trialogue at 3pm on CARRP (Credit
Agreements Relating to Residential Property).

At 4pm Sharon set aside some time to read over the CRD (Capital Requirements Directive) text.

Then at 5pm Sharon attended an ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) group meeting, followed by a Conference of Committee Chairs (CPCO) meeting with the College of Commissioners.

Wednesday

At 10am Sharon met with Greg Clark MP the newly appointed Financial Secretary to the Treasury.

Then at 12pm Sharon met with APCIMS (Association of Private Client Investments Managers and Stockbrokers) to discuss CSDR (Central Securities Depository Regulation).

At 1.30pm Sharon met with Dan Waters, President of ICI Global, to discuss Money Market Fund proposals.

Sharon then spent the afternoon working on CRD4 (Capital Requirements Directive) ahead of the trialogue at 3.30pm on CRD4 and CRR (Capital Requirements Regulation).

Thursday

From 9am-12.30pm Sharon attended the trilogue on the '2 pack' agreement.

Then at 2pm Sharon met with Sir Win Bischoff, Chairman of Lloyd's Banking Group, followed by a meeting with Michael Ellam, Chair of the EU's Financial Services and Regulation Committee.

Sharon then took the Eurostar back to London at 7pm and travelled back to her constituency.

Friday

Sharon spent the day in the constituency office.
