What Sharon Did Last Week (14th-18th January)
Monday
Sharon travelled to Strasbourg for Plenary week.
At 3.30pm Sharon attended a meeting with the ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) group meeting.
Then at 5.30pm Sharon attended a meeting with the LDEPP (Liberal Democrat European Parliamentary Party) group followed by a second ALDE meeting at 6pm.
At 7pm Sharon, as Chair of the ECON (Economic and Monetary Affairs) Committee, attended a meeting of the Bureau and Coordinators.
Tuesday
At 8.30am Sharon attended a preparatory meeting on CRD IV (Capital Requirements Directive IV) and CRR (Capital Requirements Regulation) ahead of the trilogue at 9am.
At 12pm Sharon attended votes.
Then from 1.30-4pm Sharon, as the Chair of ECON Committee, attended a Conference of Committee Chairs (CPCO) meeting with the Lucinda Creighton, Irish Minister of State for European Affairs, and Maros Sefcovic, Vice President of the European Commission.
At 4pm Sharon attended a meeting on CSD (Central Securities Depositories).
Then at 6.30pm Sharon attended an ALDE group meeting.
Wednesday
At 8am Sharon attended an ALDE ECON meeting.
Then at 10am Sharon met with Commissioner Michel Barnier to discuss financial services.
At 11am Sharon spoke with Ed Davey MP regarding gas market manipulation.
Then at 12pm Sharon attended votes.
At 2pm Sharon attended a meeting on SSM (Single Supervisory Mechanism) ahead of the trilogue at 3pm.
Then at 6pm Sharon attended an ALDE group meeting.
Thursday
Sharon spent to morning taking meetings in her office, and then attended votes at 12pm.
Friday
Sharon travelled back to her constituency office.
