What Sharon Did Last Week (21st-25th January)

Monday

Sharon travelled to Brussels for Committee week.

At 3pm Sharon took the chair in ECON (Economic and Monetary Affairs) Committee where an Exchange of Views took place with Vittorio Grilli, Italian Finance Minister.

Then at 6.30pm Sharon attended an ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) ECON meeting.

Tuesday

Sharon spent the day in ECON Committee.

Wednesday

Sharon attended a trilogue on SSM (Single Supervisory Mechanism) from 9am-12.30pm.

Following David Cameron's speech on Europe Sharon gave interviews to BBC News 24 and Sky News.

At 3pm Sharon attended trilogue on SSM.

Thursday

At 9am Sharon attended trilogue on SSM.

Then at 2.30pm Sharon attended a preparatory meeting on MAD (Market Abuse Directive) followed by two trilogues on MAR (Market Abuse Regulation) and MAD.

Friday

Sharon attended a Liberal Democrats away day in the UK.
