What Sharon Did Last Week (22nd - 26th April)
Monday
Sharon travelled into London for a meeting with Standard Chartered then took a 1pm Eurostar to Brussels for the start of Committee Week.
Tuesday
At 9.30am Sharon chaired a trialogue on MAR (Market Abuse Regulation).
Then at 1.30pm Sharon attended a meeting with EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group).
At 2pm Sharon attended a preparatory meeting for the JURI (Legal Affairs) Committee on the Audit negotiations.
Then at 3pm Sharon participated in a live Facebook chat, answering ECON (Economic and Monetary Affairs) related questions.
At 4.40pm Sharon gave an interview to Jim Brunsden of Bloomberg about trade finance.
Wednesday
At 9am Sharon took the chair in ECON committee.
Then at 1pm Sharon attended an ABI (Association of British Insurers) lunch meeting, followed by a meeting with the ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) ECON group.
At 3pm Sharon took the chair in ECON committee.
Thursday
At 10am Sharon took the chair in ECON committee.
Then at 11.30am Sharon attended an Inter-institutional agreement meeting on SSM (Single Supervisory Mechanism) with the ECB (European Central Bank).
Sharon then took an afternoon Eurostar back to her constituency.
Friday
Sharon spent the day working from her constituency office.
