What Sharon Did Last Week (24th - 28th June)

Monday

Sharon travelled into London to the Cass Business School to deliver a speech on Responsible Banking.

At 1pm Sharon took the Eurostar to Brussels.

Then at 3pm Sharon took the Chair in ECON (Economic and Monetary Affairs) committee where the committee considered the 2012 report for the European Central Bank, the adoption of the euro by Latvia on the 1st January 2014, and the General budget of the EU for the financial year of 2014.

At 5pm Sharon again took the Chair in ECON committee where an exchange of views took place with Michael Noonan, Irish Minister of Finance.

Tuesday

Sharon spent from 9am-4pm working from her office.

Then at 4pm Sharon attended a Standard and Poor Seminar on 'Europe's solvency challenge in 2050'.

At 5.30pm Sharon attended a PRIPs (Packaged Retail Investment Products) shadows meeting.

Wednesday

At 9am Sharon attended an ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) group meeting.

Then at 10.30am Sharon attended a meeting with the Lithuanian Presidency.

At 1pm Sharon travelled to the airport where she to a flight to Berlin for the FESE (Federation of European Securities Exchange) Convention.

Thursday

Sharon attended the FESE event.

Then at 4pm Sharon travelled back to London.

Friday

Sharon travelled to The Grove in Hertfordshire to attend The Deutsche Bank Summit.

At 10.30am Sharon took part in a panel discussion on 'Bridging the Political and Regulatory Gap'.
