What Sharon Did Last Week (23rd - 27th September)

Monday

Sharon took the Eurostar to Brussels arriving at the Parliament at 2.30pm.

At 3pm Sharon chaired an Economic Monetary Dialogue with Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank (ECB).

Tuesday

At 9 am Sharon took the chair in the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee (ECON).

Then at 2pm Sharon attended a preparatory meeting on Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID)

At 3pm Sharon took the chair in ECON Committee.

Wednesday

At 11am Sharon met with representatives from the US Treasury to discuss upcoming ECON business.

Then at 12pm Sharon met with Crispin Blunt MP to discuss Omnibus II.

At 3pm Sharon chaired a MiFID trialogue.

Thursday

From 9am until 12.30pm Sharon chaired a Resolution and Recovery Directive trialogue.

At 2pm Sharon left the Parliament to travel back to the UK.

Friday

Sharon spent the morning working from her Constituency Office before travelling into London for a meeting with Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of England.
