What Sharon Did Last Week (21st - 25th October)
Monday
Sharon travelled to Strasbourg for the plenary week.
At 5pm Sharon attended a meeting on the Resolution Recovery Directive (RRD).
Then at 7pm Sharon chaired the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee (ECON).
Tuesday
Sharon spent the morning working from her office.
At 11am Sharon met with Commissioner Michel Barnier, Commissioner for the Internal Market, to discuss the ECON agenda and benchmarks.
At 12pm Sharon attended votes.
Then at 2pm Sharon attended a Conference of Committee Chairs meeting as Chair of the ECON Committee.
At 3.30pm Sharon chaired a trialogue on RRD.
Wednesday
At 10am Sharon met with the American Chamber of Commerce to discuss the ECON agenda.
At 12pm Sharon attended votes.
Then at 2pm Sharon attended a preparatory meeting on Omnibus II.
At 3pm Sharon chaired a trialogue on Deposit Guarantee Schemes (DGS).
Thursday
At 9.30am Sharon attended a preparatory meeting on Omnibus II ahead of the trialogue at 10.30am.
Then at 12pm Sharon attended votes.
Sharon then worked from her office before travelling back to the UK at 4pm.
Friday
Sharon travelled to the House of Lords to give evidence at a committee hearing on Genuine Economic Monetary Union (GEMU).
Saturday
Sharon attended and spoke at the South Central Liberal Democrat Regional Conference in High Wycombe.
