Monday

Sharon travelled to Brussels via Eurostar, arriving at the Parliament at 12.30pm.

At 1.30pm Sharon met with delegates from the British Bankers' Association.

Then at 2.30pm Sharon met with the Federation of Finnish Financial Services.

At 3pm Sharon chaired an Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) Committee meeting.

Tuesday

At 9am Sharon chaired an ECON Committee meeting.

Then at 12.30pm Sharon chaired a workshop on the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF).

At 3.30pm Sharon chaired ECON Committee.

Wednesday

At 9am Sharon attended a meeting on Central Securities Deposits Regulation (CSDR), followed by the trialogue at 12pm.

At 3pm Sharon chaired a trialogue on Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).

Thursday

At 9am Sharon attended a meeting on Deposit Guarantee Schemes (DGS), followed by a political meeting on DGS.

Then at 12.30pm Sharon met with representatives from Barclays bank.

At 4pm Sharon attended the Finance Watch Conference and participated in a panel discussion on financial reform.

Friday

Sharon travelled back to the UK.
