Monday
Sharon travelled to Strasbourg for the start of the Parliament's plenary week.
At 5pm Sharon attended a meeting on Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD).
Then at 7.30pm Sharon chaired an Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee Meeting (ECON).
Tuesday
At 9am Sharon attended a co-ordinators meeting where an exchange of views took place with Andrea Enria, Chairman of the European Banking Authority.
Then at 12pm Sharon attended votes.
At 2pm Sharon attended a Conference of Committee Chairs meeting as chair of the ECON committee.
Then at 4pm Sharon chaired a trialogue on Market Abuse Directive.
Wednesday
At 10am Sharon attended a meeting on the Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities Directive (UCITS) followed by a meeting on Central Securities Depository Regulation (CSDR).
Then at 12pm Sharon attended votes.
At 3pm Sharon chaired a trialogue on Deposit Guarantee Schemes.
Then at 3pm Sharon chaired a trialogue on BRRD.
Thursday
At 9am Sharon chaired a trialogue on Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).
Sharon then left Strasbourg and travelled back to London via Paris.
Friday
Sharon met with a group of bank investors in the City and gave a talk on her work in ECON.
