What Sharon Did Last Week (15th - 20th December)
Monday
Sharon travelled to Brussels for the start of group week in the Parliament.
At 3pm Sharon chaired an Economic and monetary Affairs (ECON) Committee meeting where a monetary dialogue took place with Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank.
At 7pm Sharon spoke at a dinner for the British Chamber of Commerce on 'Changing tides - what to expect from the European Parliament in 2014'.
Tuesday
At 9am Sharon chaired an ECON committee meeting where an economic dialogue and exchange of views took place with Rimantas Šadžius, Minister of Finance of Lithuania.
Then at 12.30pm Sharon was interviewed by BBC News on banking union.
At 3pm Sharon chaired an ECON committee meeting.
Wednesday
At 9am Sharon chaired a trialogue on Central Securities Depository Regulation.
Then at 2pm Sharon attended a preparatory meeting followed by a trialogue on Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).
Thursday
Sharon spent the morning working from her office before travelling back to the UK for the Christmas break.
Friday
Sharon spent the day working from her constituency office.
